Dudley Family Nurse Partnership

If you have recently received a phone call or text from a Family Nurse, you may be wondering who we are and what we do. It can be a little daunting meeting someone you don't know for the first time and we understand that.

So, let us introduce ourselves .....

We are a team of specially trained nurses who work with first time moms and dads in Dudley. We only have a small team so we can't work with everyone and so we only offer it to Moms who are 19 or under. 

​

On the first visit we will come and introduce ourself and tell you what we do. If you want to have someone with you, thats fine with us. We bring some information to leave with you and you can then decide if FNP is for you. There will be no pressure to make a decision during the visit, you can text or call when you decide.

​

One of the things clients say they like about having a family nurse is that they only have one. So the nurse visiting you will be the one you work with every visit. That way you don't have to keep repeating yourself and we can get to know each other better.

A family nurse works with you by making sure you have all the information you need for you to make decisions around you and your baby.
